Amber + Andy

Design Story

Amber & Andy chose a setting that felt like a cozy mountain cabin, but they wanted to be sure it didn’t feel too mountain kitschy. We added subtle elegance and a touch of glamour to the design by using metallics and loads of candlelight.

Amber selected a colour palette of deep eggplant, olive green and gold, with some black & white damask accents. Amber & Andy also wanted to bring the outdoors inside, so we designed centerpieces made of curly willow branches with warm flickering candles hanging from the branches.

Other personal details included framed photos of Amber & Andy’s parents (both still married!), a unique place card display, super cute hot cocoa favours (all hand made by Amber & Andy), a hugely popular photobooth (the groomsmen made a human pyramid!) and a very delicate and unique chocolate sculpture in place of a cake!
