When we began working together, Kristen and Darren already knew what feel they wanted for their wedding. They had a collection of beautiful, personalized details they wanted to incorporate. Kristen was feeling a bit uncertain about how everything would come together, so we sat down (virtually), put our heads together, and went over all of the details. What resulted was a sweet, slightly rustic, and wonderfully intimate wedding design.
The Ceremony was the perfect example of ‘less is more’, as the stunning mountain backdrop did most of the work! Our raw wood arch, adorned with gorgeous florals, fit the space perfectly!
For the reception Kristen selected a palette of pale pink, sage greens, and wood accents. I was delighted to discover Kristen & Darren had opted to go with mahogany-coloured chiavari chairs, which looked amazing on the brand new hardwood floors at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Some of Kristen’s details included: adorable pink moose place cards marked each place setting; a handmade Mr. & Mrs. banner hung from the sweetheart table; and a classy modern cake crowned with an adorable moose topper. Slightly wild looking florals with pink, green, and accents of deep purple and peach sat in rustic custom handmade boxes. The room was warmed by a simple amber uplighting. The best part of Kristen & Darren’s wedding design is that it reflected them perfectly!
