Love Story

I only had the opportunity to meet Kristen & Darren about 4 weeks before their wedding. You’d think in that short time I wouldn’t get to know much about them, but I think every person who meets Kristen & Darren can see how head-over-heels in love these two are.  Kristen is kind, and sweet, and Darren is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.

The weather Kristen & Darren had on their wedding day was CRAZY. Rainy, sunny, windy, rainy, sunny, windy.  Then, 20 minutes before the ceremony, there was a cougar scare! As Kristen walked down the aisle, the weather was cloudy and rainy.  And finally, just as the commissioner finished his welcome, there was a touch of hail. Now – get this – as they started sharing their amazingly sweet vows, the clouds cleared, the wind slowed, and the sun shone down on them for the rest of the ceremony. And not once did Kristen or Darren stop smiling!  I don’t think it matters what life throws at these two, they are going to be sitting on a porch, in rocking chairs, holding hands when they are 95. I’m sure of it.
